2016 Plant Investment & New Business
With continued growth supplying the construction sector, PNJ has invested ca £100,000 in additional Robotic welding equipment.
Our new Kuka robotic cell is the largest robot we have installed to date. Capable of welding large fabrications at high speed, this new addition has recently begun producing a range of seating platforms for construction vehicles.
Our recent £50,000 investment in a Romer Absolute Arm, allows us to perform full 3D laser scans of almost any surface and structure.
Integrating with Solid Works 3D modelling software, we are now able to scan entire vehicle interior and exterior surfaces. This technology has enabled PNJ to engineer a range of storage solutions for the Pick-Up truck and commercial vehicle markets.
A range of products has been developed to address the needs of vehicle owners wishing to improve the functionality of their load space. Marketed under the brand name Gearmate, this exciting range of innovative products is designed to maximize cargo space with vastly improved access and security for payloads, tools and equipment.
